Via Ferrata of Liaucous
The via ferrata of Liaucous is composed of a clever mix of difficulties spread over 2 courses. Monkey bridge, tyrolean traverse, ladders with an exceptional view on the Tarn valley!
Overlooking the valley of the cherry trees and classified among the 5 most beautiful in France
The via ferrata of Liaucous is both varied and very fun. The course is strewn with different obstacles, which gives you the possibility to change the difficulty of your progression, notably thanks to the blue and red courses. And to reward your efforts, you will finish this via ferrata with the magnificent tyrolienne which overlooks Liaucous and the valley.
This via ferrata was built on a dolomitic limestone cliff, allowing you to discover atypical landscapes. Amazing rock colours and shapes await you at every turn!
Like all via ferrata, it is made up of a succession of bars for the feet and hands, a cable lifeline, as well as monkey bridges, a Nepalese bridge and a superb suspended footbridge allowing you to progress in complete safety.
Two possible routes:
Blue course: the easiest, which follows a system of ledges allowing you to gain height slowly, without being exposed to too much air. Ideal for families, the blue course is accessible from 10 years old.
Red course: the most difficult because it is athletic and sporty. It will allow you to pass through very aerial and impressive places like the famous "Poire" passage. Accessible to beginners as well as experts, this course requires however a good physical condition. Beautiful overhanging passages await you.
The two courses of the via ferrata of Liaucous can be done in the same group, the courses separating and joining several times, which allows everyone to enjoy themselves.
